Therapy modalities

How sessions are structured

  • Psychodynamic psychotherapy

Exploring how past experiences and relationship patterns shape present-day struggles, to build deeper insight and lasting change.

  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy

Practical skills for managing intense emotions, distress, and relationship difficulties.

  • Structural Family Therapy

Working with the dynamics and structure of a couple or family system, often used in couple therapy.

Sessions are tailored — we'll agree on an approach together rather than follow a fixed program.

My style is warm and compassionate. I hold a culturally conscious space, and bring genuine curiosity to understanding each client's life and struggles. We work on the issues together. Dr. Ceylan Çelen

Fees & Medicare rebates

How the Medicare rebate works

Under the Better Access initiative, a GP or psychiatrist can issue a Mental Health Treatment Plan, which entitles you to a rebate on up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Bring your referral to your first session, and you can claim the rebate through Medicare. Private health rebates may also apply depending on your fund and level of cover; check your extras policy for "psychology" coverage.
